Oscar Mayer Lunchmeat Deal

I’m not the biggest fan of Kroger since they stopped doubling/tripling coupons in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area last year. I’ve rarely shopped in their stores since September, 2011. But they sure do have a great deal on lunchmeat this week that you cannot get by price-matching at Walmart. There is an OYNO (“On Your Next Order”) catalina that is printing when you purchase Oscar Mayer lunchmeat in different increments. So I decided it was time to head up there to take advantage of this deal. Here are the catalina details (click the image above to enlarge it — this is what printed from the catalina machine prior to trying this deal):

I purchased 5 packages of lunch meat (turkey and ham) at $2.09 each ($10.45 total – $4 OYNO = $6.45 or $1.29 each!)

Please keep in mind that to receive the $2.09 price on the lunch meat, you must buy 10 participating items. I added 5 packages of Skinner pasta ($0.39 each) to bring my total number of items to 10.

Hot Printable Coupon Sightings

More great printable coupons are popping up! I especially love the Dial Liquid Hand Soap coupon ($3/6). I haven’t seen a Dial Liquid Hand Soap printable in a long time. The liquid soaps often go on sale for $1 each — I’ve seen this at Kroger, Albertsons, Walgreens, and Walmart in the past. Hurry and print your coupons before they reach their print limits and are pulled. And remember, you can print most coupons twice from each computer.

Half Price Books Summer Reading Program

This summer, children 14 and under can earn money to Half Price Books just for reading! Below are the stipulations for the program:

Read for at least 15 minutes each day for a month. (Grown-ups may read aloud to kids who are still learning.)
Add up your minutes and have your parent or guardian initial each week.
Once you’ve read 300 minutes, turn in your completed reading log to earn your $5 HPB Back-to-School Bucks reading reward for the month.
We’ll award one top reader per age group each month with a TOP READER prize – a $20 HPB Gift Card!*
